Christmas at the Royal Gift Shop

At the Royal Gift Shop, you can find unique Christmas gifts inspired by the interiors and collections of Sweden's royal palaces. Every product has a story to tell!

The shop sells decorative items, books and gifts, all with a link to our royal heritage. Here, you will find unique gifts for every occasion.

For example, the beautiful pattern on the tea, caramel and gingerbread biscuit tins comes from the stucco ceiling of the Victoria Salon at the Royal Palace.

Hurricane Soda Royal Grey. An exclusively produced candle in Hårleman grey, a colour found on the woodwork at the royal palaces.

Mouth-blown, hand-painted glass Christmas ornaments. One of the ornaments is inspired by Sweden's coronation crown, which was commissioned in 1561 for King Erik XIV's coronation. Another is inspired by the Main Guard at the Royal Palace (see top image).

The Royal Gift Shop sells products inspired by Sweden's royal heritage, many of which are exclusively available from the Royal Gift Shop. In the late 19th century, King Oskar II had metal fire doors installed at the Royal Palace. The doors were decorated with a symbol in the form of two crossed torches, representing their function as fire doors.

The gilded torches from the fire doors have been cast, and now feature on a tin and brass matchstick box. Not only is the symbol on the matchstick box decorative, it also tells a story and is a reminder never to leave lit candles unattended.
