Self-guided tours of Gripsholm Castle

King Gustav Vasa's castle will be open for self-guided visits over Easter weekend. Gripsholm features Sweden's best preserved settings from the time of Gustav Vasa, as well as King Gustav III's Theatre and the Swedish National Portrait Gallery.

While you explore the castle, there's an image hunt to keep your children and grandchildren amused.

Café, crafts and a gift shop

The Kronköket Opens in new window. kitchen at Gripsholm Castle will be open, serving coffee, tea and pastries. The children can also take part in crafts here, as we need help making decorations for Gripsholm's birthday celebrations!

The Royal Gift Shop Opens in new window. will be open during Easter weekend. The entrance is at the gate to the courtyard.
