The castle will be decorated to mark the occasion, with market stalls and games in the courtyards. Every century in the castle's history will be represented with historical figures: the 16th century in the courtyards and on the first floor, the 18th century and the glorious time of King Gustav III on the second floor, and the 19th century on the third floor.

Gripsholm Castle will be open for self-guided tours. There will also be image hunts for children to carry out. Use the Royal Walks app to go on the Vasa Walk in the castle grounds.

Avoid the hassle of parking! Travel on the heritage Östra Sörmland Railway to the castle from Läggesta station – your journey through history starts here! There will be a special timetable for the day.
