Summer concert: The Home Guard's Gävleborg Music Corps

On three Saturdays in June, The Home Guard's music corps will provide entertainment with marching tunes and wind music, amid the summer greenery. On the afternoon of Saturday 15 June, the Home Guard's Gävleborg Music Corps will perform a concert in Ulriksdal Palace Park.

The Home Guard's Gävleborg Music Corps consists of 35 musicians who play wind and percussion instruments. The conductor will be Lieutenant Odd Inge Gjelsnes.

The main role of the Home Guard's music corps is to play during parades and the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, as well as at unit ceremonies and concerts. Every year, the Home Guard's music corps perform at military and civilian music festivals, both in Sweden and abroad.

SUMMER CONCERTS IN ULRIKSDAL PALACE PARK
